This mid 19th Century Blazing Star quilt is also called Rising Sun. It measures 92” x 96” and is in excellent contition. (BB405), Origin is PA. Yellow, red & green mini-prints are set in a white with brown mini-figure print. 1.75" yellow and red sawtooth inner border; 11.5" outer border of white figured fabric; binding of another mid-19th c red print with overlapped corners; off-white muslin back. some foxing in the white; visible in last two photos. Hanf pieced and hand quilted.
