Here we have an early Double Irish Chain circa mid 19th Century.  It has  lots of wonderful fabrics.  The small squares are 1 1/2 inch in size.  I have found only a few shattered browns.  This quilt measures 81 inches by 86 inches.  It is hand pieced and hand quilted.  The back is turned to the front for a very tiny binding.  The quilting measures 7-8 spi.
