This fabric sample is just gorgeous. French circa 1860. It measures 32 inches selvage width and 15 inches long. Looks to have been perhaps part of a quilt at some point as there are stitch lines along the bottom. The blues are beautifully rich and vibrant. This would be a fabulous piece for fabric design, fabric study or just to admire.
