Here is a beautiful teal and grayish brown cherub toile. It measures 31.5 inch selvage width and is 36 invhes long. The repeat is at 17 inches so you have two full repeats in this piece. This toile in a brown ground is referenced on page 129 ot Michele Palmer’s book “Toile The Storied Fabrics of Europe and America”. The oriental temple behiind the cherubs helps to date this piece as oriental themes were fashionable in the late nineteenth century.
